“Kids Free San Diego” Returns this October with Big Savings for Families

During the entire month of October, more than 100 San Diego hotels, restaurants, attractions, museums and transportation companies will offer families with children money-saving deals, so they can enjoy San Diego without emptying their wallets. “Kids Free San Diego” provides families an opportunity to save during budget-conscious times with a variety of unique “kids free” incentives, ranging from complimentary attraction admission to meals, welcome amenities at area hotels and much more.

Consistently rated one of the top family destinations in North America, San Diego is home to world-class family attractions, a rich arts and culture scene, delicious Cali-Baja cuisine and popular activities like whale watching, golfing, surfing and kayaking. In October, after the summer beach crowds diminish, visitors to San Diego can relish in the region’s sunny weather and warm temperatures and enjoy a number of fun-filled fall activities for the whole family. Below are highlights of the 6th annual “Kids Free San Diego” month.

Big Savings at World-Class Family Attractions

Home to the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, SeaWorld San Diego and more, San Diego is offering substantial savings this October with free kids’ admission to local attractions, including the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld San Diego and Belmont Park.

Hotels Roll Out the Welcome Mat for Kids

Located throughout San Diego, hotels ranging from budget options to luxury escapes are rolling out the welcome mat for kids this October. Kids can eat free at many hotels or receive special welcome gifts upon arrival at others.

Kids Can Dig In on the Deals at San Diego Restaurants

After an enjoyable day around the city, parents can have a taste of San Diego’s emerging culinary scene while kids eat free at participating family friendly restaurants, including Carnitas’ Snack Shack, The Patio and Buster’s Beach House.

Kids Learn and Have a Blast at San Diego’s Diverse Arts and Culture Venues

Kids have endless options to learn while they have fun at more than three dozen San Diego museums countywide that are offering free admission to all kids, ages 12 and under, in October. Among the many kid-friendly museums to discover include Birch Aquarium at Scripps in La Jolla, Cabrillo National Monument in Point Loma and the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad.
