5th & PCH

The tagline for 5th & PCH is SHOP, DINE, PLAY & STAY…..and their special events in 2017 reflects its community spirit and desire to give-back.

“We’re so proud to be a part of downtown Huntington Beach, and support activities that truly add to the quality of life for our residents and visitors”, states Senior Property Manager, Kate Leigh. “Everyone gets involved, including our owners, management team and merchants”!

The 5th & PCH Grand Re-Opening in May was the beginning of many partnerships for them, including Duck-A-Thon, Waggin’ Trails, Miss HB Scholarship Program, and HB International Surfing Museum, to name a few.

5th & PCH sponsored July 4th celebrations and won the sweepstakes award for their float with Miss Huntington Beach and her Court.

The first day of the US Open of Surfing, 5th & PCH hosted Women’s Surfing Champion, Sally Fitzgibbons, leading 200+ enthusiastic fans in her All Australian Beach Body Workout and was recorded for a future DVD.

Active Ride Shop, a full service skateboard retailer was a sponsor, along with Rip Curl, their next door neighbor at 5th & PCH.

The 2017 Breitling HB Airshow, was also sponsored by 5th & PCH, who took advantage of the fact the majority of airshow pilots, crews and their families stayed at the Shorebreak Hotel. “We were thrilled to offer a meet & greet event for the public to interact with pilots from the F-16 group,” comments Kate Leigh, “and we coordinated with the HB Kowabunga Van Club to chauffer many pilots on a tour of the city during their stay.”

October events, included first annual Fifth Street Surf-0-Rama with 18th Annual Induction into the International Surfboard Builders Hall of Fame (Oct. 21); and annual Halloween Costume Contest sponsored by the HB Downtown merchants.

Kate Leigh emphasized “we want people to visit our website and facebook to find out about our growing calendar of events, and growing list of new merchants opening soon at 5th & PCH”!
